Valves
Air Valves
Air release valves are designed to manage air in pipelines, by releasing trapped air or by admitting air when the system is being drained to avoid vacuum damage.
Managing large volumes of air during filling and draining is referred to as Kinetic air release/vacuum function. Whereas, the release of air accumulated during normal operation is referred to as Automatic air release function. Combination air valves can perform the functions of both the Kinetic and Automatic.
